Antti Laine - Smoke from sauna and from the code

Antti Laine jumped on the waves of Bradleys Digital on November 1, 2021. After working for a couple of weeks, we asked Antti for fresh feelings.

What made you jump from the service of a large corporation to the ranks of a small company?

There are already several guys at Bradleys I already knew. I believe there is tremendous potential in the company and I wanted to play my part in influencing the future of the company. In a small company, it is much more concrete than in a large corporation. At Bradleys, working conditions (necessary tools, etc.) are in order, I can affect the content of the work and the projects themselves, the salary is very competitive and the company has a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

What makes you light up in your spare time?

In my free time, I spend a lot of time in the countryside cottage and tinkering with all kinds of forestry work on construction and remodeling jobs. The bigger challenge has been to build a smoke sauna from our own trees. I exercise in a variety of ways, running all year round and in the winter skiing and downhill skiing. In the spring and wintertime I like to visit north, like in Ruka's Valtavaara at the picture.

Why is coding so nice? Or is it?

I equate coding with solving crossword puzzles and sudoku puzzles, where solving a problem produces experiences of success. In coding, you can challenge yourself and constantly develop your own skills. In addition, the projects provide access to a wide range of business sectors in both the private and public sectors. And like a smoke sauna, you can sometimes try to get smoke out of the code :)
